Who is Telecom Site Solutions?

 

We are a US-based company that is led by a small group of professionals with over 50 years of experience in the telecom equipment sales and installation market.  These individuals are extremely knowledgeable about our targeted markets and the products that serve these markets, giving us an advantage over our competition. We believe that we can provide the best products for the best prices in the shortest lead times.

 

Our specialty is a customized solution for each application, in both the product we fabricate and the complete solution that we integrate into the final product, in order to meet or preferably exceed each customer's requirements/expectations.  All of our product designs are completed in Creo / Pro-E, so we provide a custom technical data package with each product including an assembly drawing, schematic drawing and customized Operations Manual with photos detailing all functions of the system.  Here is an overview of the features and systems that we specialize in that can be integrated into any permanent site or any mobile platform (trailer, truck, van or another preferred vehicle):

  1. Pneumatic mast and motorized lattice tower solutions for cellular, broadband, satellite, TV and ham radio applications (motorized lattice towers are limited to trailers).

  2.   3. We are a U.S. Distributor for NextMove Technologies, which designs and builds their own line of microwave positioners, satellite positioners with a superb point to point automated positioning and auto-tracking. We have sold their products to most of the major US wireless carriers, including custom mounts we designed and fabricated for use with their products.   4. We are a U.S. Distributor for all Cummins Onan generators.

  5. Automatic and manual transfer switch integration, including auto start/stop of generators with an ATS and monitoring of the power source.

  6. AC distribution or breaker panels equipped with surge protection; all wiring per the National Electric Code.

  7. Single point grounding systems to earth ground, with separate equipment and RF ground bars; halo ground rings are standard inside of our shelters.

  8. Diesel and propane generator integration, including our single or double-walled custom aluminum fuel tanks standard with lockable fuel caps, fuel level sensors with site gages and optional leak sensors.

  9. Complete integration of -48VDC power systems including the rectifier/distribution system and battery bank.

  10. Complete integration of solar power systems, including a hybrid system with solar, -48VDC and generator backup.

  11. Alarm monitoring through various controllers that we integrate into our systems.

  12. Huge focus on corrosion prevention including customized trailers, platforms, and truck beds fabricated out of steel and completely hot-dipped galvanized.  This focus even includes the type of hardware we use.

  13. Another way we focus on corrosion prevention is through our custom design and fabrication with aluminum, including all-aluminum shelters with no wood inside of them, aluminum fuel tanks, aluminum tool boxes, aluminum antenna mounting kits, aluminum ladders/roof platforms and safety rails for vans that are powder coated to match the van and even all-aluminum cabinets that we fabricate and powder coat as well.

Do you offer installation services?

 

We sure do! We offer custom installation and testing of any equipment, including customer-owned equipment, onto the trailer/truck products or into the permanent or mobile shelter products that we manufacture, either at our facility or at the customer's site.  We can also provide installation services for the following types of networks: cellular, IT, power, audio, and video. We only used the most experienced installers, who hold industry certifications or licenses when required, to ensure that the industry standards, such as the National Electric Code, are met.

 

NOTE: We do not install the shelters or towers themselves at the site, only the equipment inside of them.  However, we work with contractors for the major wireless carriers that can provide these services anywhere in the United States, as well as much of the Caribbean, Latin America and South America.

 

Telecom seems to be a booming industry, but can you offer any customization services for my vehicle?

 

TSS offers other Custom Vans, for use in markets outside of telecom applications.  Below are examples of Custom Vans built to date, but we can customize any vans to meet customer's requirements.  As described below, most of our custom vans have been built on Sprinter high roof cargo vans; however, Ford now offers a high roof Transit cargo van that is very comparable, which comes in both diesel and gasoline engines; whereas the Sprinters are only offered with diesel engines.

 

  1. Custom technology vans built onto Sprinter 1 ton, 170" wheelbase, high roof cargo vans.  These vans can be used for technology demonstrations, or even serve as work vans. One of these vans is equipped with solar panels on the roof for charging the on-board telecom batteries, which support the on-board inverter system, to provide the required 120VAC power.

  2. Coffee brewing van built onto a Sprinter 3/4 ton, 170" wheelbase, high roof cargo van.  It is built to meet commercial requirements including installation of commercial coffee brewing equipment.

  3. Frac van for use in the oil fracking industry, serving as a mobile test lab; built onto a Sprinter 3/4 ton, 170" wheelbase, high roof cargo vans.

 

In addition to our trailers shown in our other product tabs on this website, we also offer many types of custom trailers, which are extremely well built and very competitively priced, as well as custom steel or aluminum fabrication.
